15 Aug 2025 Celebration
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Wamanrao Muranjan Junior college of Science and Commerce on August 15th, 2025.The event was attended by students, all the teaching and non teaching staff, and Managing Committee members. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by our chief guest and Principal Mr. Parag Pande Sir. The flag was hoisted to the tune of the national anthem, sung with great passion by all present.
Following the flag hoisting, Chief Guest and Principal delivered a short speech. This was followed by Kawayat performance by students of Wamanrao Muranjan High School, Wamanrao Muranjan Junior College and Daffodils Public School.
After that chairman of the managing committee Mr. Anand Pradhan delivered a speech and shared his thoughts on patriotism and the importance of preserving our cultural values.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers. The celebration left a lasting impression on all those present, fostering a sense of patriotism and unity. The distribution of biscuits added to the festive atmosphere.
The overall atmosphere was one of joy, pride, and a renewed sense of national identity. The Kawayat performances was the highlight of the function and contributed to a memorable and meaningful Independence Day celebration.
