World Population Day is a great event being observed all through the world annually on 11th of July . It is organised to increase the awareness of the people towards the world wide population issues . It was first started in the year 1989 by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The theme for this year’s World Population Day was “Empowering young people to create the families they want in a fair and hopeful world “
World population day program was conducted in our college on 11th July 2025 under the able guidance of all the teaching staff  to create awareness about dangerous consequences of population explosion.
The event started with a short guidance speech by our Vice Principal Mrs. Vedangi Kulkarni ma’am.
Ms. Darakhshan Usmani explained the importance and theme for this year’s World Population Day afterwards Students explained the causes, effects and measures of world population day through powerpoint presentations.
Event concluded with a vote of thanks.
