Every Educational institute aims at developing student’s personality from academic, emotional and social aspect. Picnic is the inevitable academic event which boost morale of the students. Picnic is the rejuvenation to break the monotony of their routine. This amusing switch make them to learn social bonding and to become active.

Considering the benefits of the Picnic, we the team of Wamanrao Muranjan Junior College of Science & Commerce, organize the picnic for our FYJC and SYJC students every year. We along with Mr. Ashish Thakkar (Sonal Travels) arranged one-day picnic for our students to Water Kingdom, Gorai (Borivali) on Friday, 13th December 2024 this year. Total 189 students came to the picnic.

We were also accompanied by our respected Vice-principal Mrs.Vedangi Kulkarni madam was consistently looking after all the provisions before and during the picnic. Her presence in the picnic led to carry out all the formalities smoothly. Total 16 teachers and 9 non-teaching staff were present for the picnic.

State transport’s 4 buses were booked for the picnic. Students assembled in the college at 7.00a.m.We departed from college at 8.30am.We reached the Waterpark at 10.00a.m. We departed from the park at 6.00p.m. and reached college at 8.00p.m.

It was a great day for all the students and teachers, at it strengthened the bond between the students and this teachers. The picnic ended finally with lots of memories.
