Writing helps to express thoughts, feelings, ideas and beliefs. Writing encourage and enhance critical thinking, creative thinking and helps in organizing thoughts .It also improves ones knowledge, skills and develops the personality and attitude. Most worthy, it affects the chances of employment for people.

For the overall linguistic development of the students, English department conducted English Essay writing Competition on 6TH July, 2024 .The topics were as follows.

2. Plastic boon or bane
3. Role of teachers in your life.
